Dieselpunk is an aesthetic style influenced by explorers, pulp magazines, serial films, pin-ups, film noir, art deco, World War 1 & 2 and Hollywood's Golden Age.

Colours and materials include black, brown, earth tones, leather, wood, metal, canvas, chrome, wool, cotton, weathered, oiled, worn, rugged, tied, strapped, buckled.

 -punk allows for a re-imagining of old styles and the celebration of the sensuous, tactile era that came before the widespread use of plastic and synthetic materials.
