Eco-Atkins/Rose Elliot low carb diet

Been doing the eco-Atkins/Rose Elliot low carb diet (carb cleanse phase) and have more or less reached my ideal weight.

The diet isn't hard work; you don't feel especially hungry. But it does make the mind a bit antsy.

BMI

I've been researching diet and weight relative to Asian frame and discovered that if you're 5 feet tall or under, BMI isn't accurate.

If your wrist measurement is 5.5 inches or under, you have a 'small frame' and your ideal weight may be less than the BMI suggests.

D Day

It's the start of the post Christmas diet for Sifu and myself today. The over-indulgence of the festive season is over and we're detoxing.

This year I'm favouring a green tea diet using fairtrade organic green tea: sencha, oolong and jasmine.
No sugar.
No fat.
1.5 litres of filtered water a day.
50 grams of carbohydrates a day (maximum).

A nice start to the new year.
