Blade Runner 2049

We re-watched the US theatrical release of Blade Runner this week - the one with the voice over - in preparation for Blade Runner 2049.

The new Blade Runner DVD contained 3 short introductory films. These were enjoyable. More so in fact than the actual Blade Runner 2049 feature film.

In truth we switched the film off after about 100 minutes. It failed on so many levels. No iconic cinematic moments, poor dialogue and a protagonist you just didn't care about.

Harrison Ford wasn't even in the film until the very end and seemed to have little resemblance to the earlier incarnation of Deckard. His haymaker punching style reminded me of Indiana Jones.
