I was expecting a parcel from DPD this afternoon...

I just happened to look outside the window and noticed the DPD van outside a neighbours house.
Yes, you've guessed it - he was trying to deliver my parcel to a neighbour.

The driver hadn't knocked on my door, nor even noticed the fact that my address is the only house (on the street of 6 houses) with the number on the gate post (black number against a white background), the drainpipe and of course the door itself.
In fact, you'd have to be blind not to see it.

The driver had the gall to give me some guff about usually delivering to the neighbour.

This is ludicrous, since it's the wrong number for starters - so who cares what he normally does?
And secondly the neighbour is at work all day and is never in to take parcels.

Don't trust DPD...

2 weeks ago DPD left my parcel with a total stranger located 1/4 mile away.

They left no missed parcel ticket but I did get an e-mail with a photograph of what DPD assured me was my neighbours door.

My husband located the house within an hour.

DPD responded to my complaint by sending me a biscuit. I don't eat biscuits.

Is DPD the new Yodel/Hermes?
