There's so many hosiery and underwear shops...
I think the Italian attitude is to make everything look great. Even what cannot be seen.
This is akin to their architecture. Imposing fortress like buildings that are not pretty but beautiful. Yet, within the huge locked wooden doors there are picturesque courtyards of unreal elegance....
